-
9 hours
Description
Essaouira is a medieval city known for its annual Gnaoua music festival, and UNESCO considers the city to be an international heritage. There are many other things to admire during your visits to Essaouira, such as its pleasant climate, the Place Moulay El Hassan, La Skala, the port, the ramparts, and the Jewish quarter of Derb Lealouj, and we don't forget the spiritual ambiance of the beach as well.
The day starts early, often around 8:00, with a comfortable minivan ride. You will cross the plains of Haouz and make stops to admire the landscapes, such as the argan forests where you might see goats climbing the trees.
Upon arrival in Essaouira, you will have a free stroll, follow the narrow streets and alleys of the Medina recognized by UNESCO, explore the prosperous Jewish Quarter and meet skilled local artisans; Linger on the city's vast sandy beaches and enjoy the sound of Gnawa music in the lively cafes of Place Moulay El Hassan. You will be free to have lunch wherever you want in front of the locals or in a restaurant if you need suggestions that you can ask the driver. Afterwards, you can relax on the beach in Essaouira and enjoy the fresh air.
